What’s up! My name is Jeremy Viray, but most folks know me by my stage name “Icey Ives”. I hail from Anchorage, Alaska, and I’m currently 27 years old. Dancing has been my passion since I was just 11 years old, and it has been an integral part of my life ever since. I began my journey at a local recreational center after witnessing a group of break dancers performing in the game room back in 2007. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of traveling to more than 12 countries, competing at a high level, and clinching several national and global championships. Among my most remarkable accomplishments thus far are my back-to-back victories at the Red Bull National Championships in 2018 and 2019. Currently, my goal is to clinch a spot for the 2024 Olympics for team USA, as breakdancing is now an official sport that will be presented at the Paris 2024 Olympic games! When I’m not traveling or practicing, I dedicate my time to giving back to my local dance community through the dance studio I founded with my girlfriend Diana Reyes in June 2022. My mindset is rooted in continuous growth and learning, both in my dance career and my personal life. I believe there is always room for improvement, and I strive to improve myself every day.
